wholina is Julina Vanille Bezold.  That's me. I am German-Swiss, but my adopted homeland is Amsterdam. I am a Bachelorette of Arts in Body Design, a transdisciplinary hybrid course of fashion, costume, jewelry and accessories.

With collected impressions from Florence (Polimoda), Amsterdam (Fashion Institute), Copenhagen (The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design) and Maastricht (Academy of Fine Arts & Design) I now look through the lens of conceptual, social, artistic, scientific and philosophical design (thinking).

What drives me is the human being in all its facets. The body as its shell is the ultimate environment for my work.

So far I have worked in theatre productions as a costume and stage designer, wrote and implemented concepts for performances, bred life in Petri dishes as a scientific design intern for Sruli Recht, and made a concept film for my project
qi, which I also directed.

You can see my work
qi next at the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven (October 19-27, 2019) in one of the ABN-Amro Hot Spots, produced by Van Eijk & van der Lubbe.
On the 2nd of November 2019
qi can be seen in the show of Fashionclash Festival Maastricht, as well as part of The Route at the Lumière cinema.
From January 19 - March 15 2020 you can visit Museum de Kantfabriek, where
qi will be part of MOP UP #3.

I'm also hatching some socially critical ideas with my artist partner Roshanak Morrowatian (google her!).

I'm never busy enough, so feel free to contact me for collaborations.
